Magic Sands Beach is often silky white sand and sometimes called “Disappearing Sands“, since the sand is washed out in a storm several times a year only to be returned after some time. This beach is called Laʻaloa Bay in Hawaiian. In the Hawaiian language, la’a loa means “very sacred”. This popular pocket of sand is great for splashing in the surf, body-surfing and body-boarding.
There is a family of turtles that live on the shore and a Coral reef excellent for snorkeling just off the beach.
There are lifeguards, BBQ’s, showers and bathrooms on location. When the sand is not out to sea, being washed by mother nature, the white sand beach experience is very relaxing.
