White Plains Beach

White Plains Beach is located between Ewa and Kapolei in Oahu. It has an exposed reef break that provides for reliable surfing conditions all-round the year.

The beach has one of the Pear Harbor’s ITT office and therefore, has many military people and their families. It is not too crowded so you can have an intimate party and fun time with family and friends.

There are plenty of outdoor showers to rinse off and indoor showers to wash yourself. Plenty of parking is available at no cost. It is often the favorite spot for beach barbecues because of plenty of grass to grill on. In addition, there are some picnic tables and grills.

Novice surfers love it here because surfing lessons are available and equipment available for hire. The water is ideal for surfing, paddle boarding and boogie boarding. However, the rocks are very close to the shore, and the beach is steep.

The swimming area is in a designated area where there are fewer rocks. A trip to White Plains Beach guaranteed occasional monk seals visits as they come out of the water and lie on the sand with no care in the world. You will also be treated to splendid views of Diamond Head and Honolulu in the far distance.
